The California Polytechnic State University Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) Department of Architecture and Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc. are pleased to invite you to submit papers for the BESS 2010 Symposium: High Performance Building Enclosures – Practical Sustainability. The symposium will be held on the Cal Poly Pomona campus 30 April – 1 May 2010.
This symposium will provide industry professionals, academic leaders, and students a forum to share and discuss state-of-the-art tools and techniques in sustainable enclosure design. By focusing on practical application, we envision that attendees will gain both the necessary knowledge base and the desire to put sustainable building enclosure concepts into practice.
Architects, engineers, contractors, industry members, and related professionals are invited to submit papers for presentation and publication in the symposium proceedings. Submitted papers should address the following topics:

- Design - Wall
- Design - Roof
- Design - Windows
- Detailing
- Analysis
- Case Studies
