Dear Prospective International Associate AIA Member:

Individuals who are licensed to practice architecture in a country other than the US are eligible to become International Associate AIA members and use the "Intl. Assoc. AIA" credential.

**When you join between now and March 31, 2012, your dues of $345.00 cover membership at all three levels (national, state and local), effective now through December 31, 2012.***

Keeping you up to date with changes that affect you, your livelihood, and how you practice architecture, AIA provides a voice for the architectural professional that reaches every level of government. AIA members may also join any of the many Knowledge Communities. These interest areas provide access to in-depth information, services, knowledge, and career needs for your particular area of practice.

These are a few more ways AIA membership adds value to your professional life:

  • Discounts on our ARE preparation seminars and Professional Development Seminars, Home Tours, Design Awards Gala, and our Masters of Architecture lecture series at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art

  • Discounted or free admission to Chapter events, including monthly Committee Programs on topics like Building Performance and Regulations, CAD, the Environment, Architecture for Health Care, Historic Resources, Interiors, and Urban Design—most are eligible for CE credit!

  • Special member prices on AIA contract documents on paper or CD-ROM, personal and professional insurance through AIA Trust, and a variety of business and travel related promotions through AIAdvantage partner companies

  • Invitation-only Chapter events such as the Board Installation & Holiday Party

  • Hanley Wood's ARCHITECT is now the official magazine of the AIA, and members will also receive digital editions of residential architect, EcoHome, and Eco-Structure, including full access to their respective Web sites. You'll also receive the quarterly journal ArcCA and six issues of FORM

  • Discounted use of our online job listings and free use of our résumé file to post or search for a job
