Free AIA/LA Memberships for Full Time Architecture & Design Students
Join today and pay NO dues through 12/31/09!

This is the perfect time to join the AIA Los Angeles Chapter. Not only are we gearing up for great panels and seminars, our Design Awards and our ARE prep seminar series, but we also have a full calendar of other events designed to help you learn, network, and enjoy yourself.

Even if you’re already a member of your school’s AIA-S Chapter,* joining the AIA/LA adds a whole list of additional benefits and opportunities…

• Put a résumé on file and check out our online job board free of charge — Get an email alert of all new postings each Friday!
• Our Committee meetings and presentations are FREE for Associates and Students. Meet architects, take a site tour, or participate in Q+A on topics like IDP, interior architecture, green design, or urban planning
• Our Home Tours are looking for docents. Work a morning or afternoon shift for one of our tours, and spend the other half of the day visiting the homes for free
• ARE Seminars help you review for the Architectural Registration Examination. Our 2009 series offers two classes for each graphic section—make sure you’re in the loop by joining our email list

To apply for membership, please send your completed application along with a copy of your valid, current student ID or proof of student status. Your dues for local membership will be waived through Dec. 31, 2009. You can renew free of charge as long as you’re in school!
