Have you ever dreamt of designing your own furniture line? Iconic Mexico City-based designer, Ezequiel Farca, www.ezequielfarca.com, will host a chair design workshop at Studio Pali Fekete architects (SPF:a) in Culver City.
Farca is an industrial, environmental, and interior designer that has collaborated with some of the world’s most esteemed architects; Enrique Norten, Ricardo Legorreta, and many others. He will briefly introduce his studio’s work and background, will break participants into small groups, and will lead a hands-on design workshop, first deconstructing an existing chair, and then turning participants loose to unleash their own creativity within a structured framework.
We are going to get six design/architect firms to create a team of up to 5 people to participate in the "Design a Chair" exercise. Ezequiel will select a winner at the end of the competition and a prize will be awarded.
