Please read this linked document (25 Trends Transforming Architecture and Design) before coming to the meeting this Thursday. We will briefly review it during the discussion about the April meeting, and then ask if any member has suggestions for additional topics which the panel can discuss during the April meeting.
Agenda to include planning for the panel discussion which will take place April 1, 2010 on the USC campus. We hope to have a very engaging discussion on the role of BIM in the development of Architectural Practice in coming years.

6:50 PM - New Business: Review use of “blog” on AIA/LA Committees web site Establish subcommittees for planning meetings in May and June

COMMITTEE MISSION The Technology in Architectural Practice Committee serves as a resource for AIA members, the profession, and the public in the deployment of computer technology in the practice of architecture. Technology in Architectural Practice monitors the development of computer technology and its impact on architecture practice and the entire building life cycle, including design, construction, facility management, and retirement or reuse.
Meetings will be held regularly on the first Thursday of the month.
