The Los Angeles Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA|LA) engages the public in many ways. We craft Press Releases announcing events, achievements and initiatives, we formally develop Issue Briefs as part of our annual Legislative Day at City Hall advocacy efforts, and, additionally the Chapter develops Position Statements to represent the professional interests of architects and our members. These Position Statements serve as advocacy tools to help shape public policy and our environment.
