Engineered Wood – A Carbon Solution by Michael Yauk

Our built environment has an enormous impact on the natural environment. The materials we choose to build with will determine if this impact is positive or negative. This course will cover how wood products can be instrumental in driving down embodied carbon for new construction, in all sorts of applications and building types.

Speakers:
Michael Yauk – Architectural Technical Representative, Redbuilt LLC.

With a background in Architectural Design, and a passion for education and sustainability, Michael Yauk seeks to drive positive change in the building industry. As an Architectural Technical Representative with RedBuilt he crafts courses for RedBuilt’s AIA continuing education program while promoting the specification of sustainable forest products.

Tomas Carlos is a Technical Sales Rep for RedBuilt and has been servicing the Los Angeles area for over 30 years working with Architects, Engineers and Framers to deliver advanced structural systems all while tirelessly serving his community.
