“Childcare + Early Education Facilities”
Please join us on June 23 (4pm) for a virtual roundtable discussion to help us further develop a proposal for the 2020 AIA|LA Advocacy Platform. The objective of this meeting will be to review the initial draft issue brief prepared by Chava Danielson, AIA and to make constructive and specific recommendations on how to further shape the specific solutions and recommendations outlined in the proposal.

Each year, AIA Los Angeles develops an advocacy platform to be shared with the community-at-large, civic leaders, and City Councilmembers at our annual Legislative Day at City Hall. This particle issue brief proposal can help support a recent motion (Council File: 20-0652) introduced by Councilmember Paul Krekorian and Council President Nury Martinez.
Please prepare in advance and review the draft proposal and reference materials below so that you’re able to help share input.
Once we collect your feedback on the 23rd, we will finalize this draft and share it with the AIA|LA Political Outreach Committee for inclusion on their annual slate of issue briefs, which will then be shared wit the AIA|LA Board of Directors for endorsement and final approval.
Your input will help make this initiative more effective and meaningful.
