Barbara is the current Past President of AIA|LA and most recently served as Co-Managing Director, Principal of Gensler Los Angeles. We are delighted to congratulate her on her new position.

06.15.20 Mandi Roberts, AIA, has joined ORA as a Principal. Mandi is the former AIA|LA Design Awards Committee Chair and is currently the local co-chair for the AIA National Committee on Design 2022 Los Angeles Design conference.

05.21.20 The Six, Los Angeles, designed by Brooks + Scarpa has been named by American Institute of Architects (AIA) Committee on the Environment (COTE) as a recipient for its highest honor, the COTE Top Ten Awards.

05.18.20  Duvivier Architects/Isabelle Duvivier, FAIA LEED have been named a 2020 Sustainable Quality Award Winner (Grand Prize Level). The recognition is a joint effort of the City of Santa Monica, the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce, and Sustainable Works.

In this piece, Annie discusses color, the importance of interior architecture “we spend more than 90% of our day indoors,” and how the curriculum architecture schools teach should be expanded. AIA – Associate, Corgan, and Vice Chair Jennifer Noel Wong, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP BD+C – Designer, CO Architects have both passed their CSE exams and are officially architects.

02.05.20  Ashley Richardson, AIA has been elevated to Principal at EYRC.  Ashley is the former AIA|LA Design Awards Committee Chair and is currently the Co-Vice Chair of the Women in Architecture Committee. In addition to her firm management responsibilities, Ashley is currently EYRC’s senior project manager working closely with design build team members Kitchell, HKS and SWA on the 2,000 bed Future College Living and Learning Neighborhood at UC San Diego.
