The panel will support a discussion of what medical simulation spaces are, what role they play in the education of medical professionals, the differences between training spaces and patient care spaces as well as a discussion of the future of where these spaces will be located, how quickly they can be accessed and by whom. Will there be a greater need for training spaces immediately adjacent to patient treatment spaces? Will Simulation spaces expand from centers to nodes within other spaces? Within a Medical Office Building, Acute care spaces or other outpatient arenas?

Tim Waters – Principal, Consultant NV5

Dr. Robert Louis MD FAANS – Chief Division of Neurosurgery, Hoag Hospital
