Anne Algaze Principal/Managing Director SAA interiors+architecture
Anne Algaze serves as Principal and Managing Director at SAA interiors + architecture, a national award-winning design firm dedicated to delivering integrated solutions to the commercial real estate industry. In her role, Anne leads SAA’s Irvine office and Real Estate Due Diligence practice, overseeing both the long-term strategy and day to day operations. Her nearly two decades of experience combined with her creativity and team-player mentality makes her a highly valued resource for her clients. Anne is a licensed architect in five states and member of the American Institute of Architects. She is certified with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and is also a certified interior designer.
In the community, Anne serves as a member of the LA Advisory Board for Harleem Lacrosee and has also served as a mentor as part of the USC Architectural Guild Mentorship program. Anne holds a B.A. in Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Geoff Bachanas, CCM Southern California Regional Executive, Kitchell CEM
With over 19 years of experience, Geoff thrives on making an impact within the community by collaborating with his staff, team and clients. As Kitchell’s Southern California Regional Executive, Geoff truly believes the diversity in types of work, clients and people make the region a great place to live and work. Although his extensive knowledge and background allows him to overcome many obstacles on a project or job site, he continues to enjoy the complexities and learning experience each project brings. Geoff’s experience includes leading and directing diverse project teams, as well as consistent success in administering large multi-million-dollar programs with optimum results. In addition, he exhibits an in-depth understanding of all facets of the construction industry from project kick-off through completion and closeout, including project pursuit and contract negotiations.
Mauricio Romero, Preconstruction Manager, Turner Construction Company
Mauricio Romero is the Preconstruction Manager for Turner Construction’s Southern California Business Unit. He has been with Turner close to 20 years with almost half that time focusing on Preconstruction Services. Mauricio also has an extensive amount of construction experience in multiple market segments leading several design build projects including some international work.
Stephanie Gutierrez, LEED AP, Interim Manager of Design Services, Design & Construction, California State University Long Beach
Stephanie has been working in the design and construction industry for almost 20 years. After she graduated from USC, she worked as a Project Engineer at CSULB. She then went onto to work as Project Engineer and Project Manager with PCL Construction for over ten years where she gained residential, retail, historical and higher education experience on both the design and construction sides. She returned to CSULB seven years ago where she has worked as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and now Interim Manager of Design Services. She is a LEED accredited professional, and she has a certification in Construction Management. Stephanie also serves on the Owners Committee for CMAA.
Gaurav Joshi, Vice President of Design & Construction Oxford Properties
Gaurav Joshi serves as the Vice President of Design & Construction for Oxford Properties, a leading global real estate investor, asset manager and business builder. His team is responsible for the delivery of Oxford’s West Coast developments. Prior to joining Oxford, Gaurav worked for the largest general contractor in the US. He holds Bachelors and Master’s degrees from Carnegie Mellon University. He lives in San Francisco, is an avid gardener, and an active volunteer.
