Photographers have long been an integral element of the architect’s work. The fourth annual AIALA Architectural Photography Awards honor the eye, celebrating varied visual styles and interpretations. Entry is open to photographers, architects, designers, and design enthusiasts.
In 2021, we are celebrating three different categories of visual styles that capture various moments of architecture’s narrative. This year we are looking for renderings, photographs, or Instagram accounts that communicate the architecture’s story. Please remember, photographs will be judged by the jury on the basis of interpretation. It will not be the architecture that is judged.
Since many were unable to travel this year, we encourage you to submit photos in the best image category that interpret the year 2020 – through the lens of COVID-19, equitable design, and social justice.
+Best Rendering (new category)
+Best Image (features a new sub category: COVID19 and equitable design in social justice.)
