“Accelerated Wealth Transit Development” Roundtable Discussion

Please join AIA Los Angeles, ULI-LA, and Neighborhood Housing Services on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 8:00 AM for a public announcement and discussion of the Accelerated Wealth Transit Development initiative.

Architect and AIA LA Board Director Michael Anderson, AIA and his team will share details of the initiative, its most recent progress, and its real, measurable, and tangible benefits for the LA metro area.

This event will be held at the California Community Foundation – 717 West Temple Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012.

Accelerated Wealth Transit Development (AWTD) is a laser-focused initiative targeting a half-mile hub around 24 Metro light rail stations in underserved communities. Our investment strategy revitalizes infrastructure, accelerates equitable housing development, and renews parks and public spaces. It’s a powerful push to transform the physical landscape, fortify safety, bolster sustainability, and dramatically improve living and business conditions and the public transit experience for the next five decades and beyond.
