Becher Neme, AIA, launched NEME DESIGN STUDIO as work-remotely only firm, 8 years ago, with team members contributing from Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Portland, and the Netherlands. Becher will share his experience on how to set up the virtual office, manage staff, keep track of hours, and make sure tasks are completed on time. And, he’ll answer your questions regarding your firm’s transition to the remote workplace.

Presenter: Becher Eli Neme – Founder, Neme Design Studio
Principal Founder of Neme Design Studio and a licensed Architect with 20 years’ experience. Specialized in using 3D technologies to optimize complex geometry and building envelope systems for construction coordination and fabrication.
Becher professional career commenced in France where he worked with TETRARC Architects, an award-winning practice recognized for their artistic and poetic approach to architecture. He later moved on to Los Angeles to work for Frank Gehry where he was involved in highly complex projects, including the Brooklyn Arena, the Hall winery, and the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.
Becher graduated with a degree in Architectural Design, a degree in Architectural Engineering, and a Master’s in urban design from L’Ecole Nationale Superieure D’architecture in Nantes, France. Becher writes regularly and is a frequent speaker about the interface of architecture and 3D technology.
NEME DESIGN STUDIO is an 8 person facade design and engineering firm based in Los Angeles with a presence in New York, Miami, Portland, and the Netherlands. All team members have been working remotely since 2012. Founding Principal, Becher Neme, will share his experience on how to set up the virtual office, manage staff, keep track of hours, and make sure tasks are completed on time.
