This month’s AIA Los Angeles Healthcare Committee will feature presentations from the USC School of Architecture Healthcare Studio, Cal Poly Pomona’s Department of Architecture’s Healthcare Studio, and Woodbury School of Architecture Interior Design Healthcare Studio. This is a great opportunity to engage with students on their real-world local projects.

We will see a mix of individual and group presentations covering everything from sports medicine to memory care and more! This will be an engaging format, with half of the time-dedicated to students presenting their studio work and the other half of the time is devoted to Q&A for each individual or group.

Recommended parking is available in the parking lot directly across from Pivot for $15.  Street parking is also available.

Presenters:

University of Southern California:
Qingnan He is presenting an integrated facility comprised of an outpatient center, lifelong housing, and memory care specifically designed for individuals with dementia. As well as another possible individual student presentation from USC.

California State Polytechnic University
Shunta Abe, Eric Seifert, Kalei Gallion, Katharine Kelly, and Josh Casten are presenting a sports medicine and outpatient surgery center.

Woodbury University
Two students in Randy Stauffer’s interior design healthcare studio are presenting their individual work.

Moderated by Kevin Staten, HOK
