As a follow-up to our 5th annual “Design for Dignity” conference, we’re organizing a series of roundtables to further advance the various initiates introduced during our break-out discussions.
This roundtable will serve as a forum to further explore the topic outlined below and identify pro-active next-steps to implement ideas on how we can best address our housing crisis.
The FAIR LA Plan: How can we rethink land use and zoning to advocate for more housing and healthier communities?
People who live in LA are facing a terrible housing crisis. Rents are too high and people are being displaced. If we continue down this road, we’ll be a city that’s lost its communities and that has failed on climate goals
Abundant Housing LA is growing movement of people demanding more homes to address rents, traffic, and climate change. We invite those who want a better housing future for LA to join us in changing the housing conversation through our events just like this one.
Together, we’ll build a city that reflects our values and respects human life and the environment
This presentation is about what concepts advocates should keep in mind as cities update their housing elements, so that we can ensure these plans address the housing crisis and address existing racial and economic inequities.
