Our industry is experiencing a once-in-a-generation shift. This year’s Women in Architecture (WiA) Speed Mentoring event is a timely resource which allows you to connect with women considering or experiencing career shifts, young designers just entering the workforce, and wise practitioners who have weathered many shifts through their careers. WiA is particularly excited to provide a special group discussion for mid-career attendees which will focus on considerations specific to folks who might feel ‘trapped in the middle.’

What is Speed Mentoring? Speed Mentoring is like speed dating, but replace the regret and awkward silences with wisdom, opportunity, and a fresh perspective on your career and our industry. Over the course of multiple small group sessions, attendees will interact with architects and designers of all professional levels. The evening is an efficient way to rapidly build your network and exchange strategies of success in the design profession. The end result: thought provoking conversations delivered FAST.

WiA members, nonmembers, designers, and students are welcome to attend. Fun zoom backgrounds, tasty beverages, and pets are welcome as well!
