The AIA|LA Women in Architecture Committee is excited to present Powerful IX: Everyday Allies. This in-person conference is a forum that celebrates the everyday allies who take the incremental and deliberate actions necessary to effect positive change in our profession. Our inspiring contributors will explore the various expressions of allyship by sharing their personal stories, portraying their passions, and leading hands-on workshops.
Our last in-person conference was in 2019 and we simply cannot wait to feel the collective energy of being physically together again. Our morning session features keynote speakers and symposium panel discussions, while our afternoon workshops focus on select topics such as Leadership Starts Now!, Taking the Leap: How to be a Sole Business Owner, Stepping into Leadership of a Legacy Firm, Intersectionality, Gender and Identity, Architecture HERstory, Women in STEAM, and Women Build Together – At the OAEC Table.
Whether you are an emerging professional exploring career possibilities, an established architect yearning to grow in new ways, or a firm leader interested in raising your office’s profile, you will find a community of great allies at Powerful IX.
