Upcoming Licensing Classes
NotLY: Not Licensed Yet 2021-22

NotLY’s events are always free and open to everyone. Nothing for sale, and no strings attached. They just want to help you get licensed. All speakers and organizers are volunteers. You should consider taking all classes when they are offered. If you are not ready for the CSE exam yet – take the class anyway. You might remember something!

You may request a course by emailing Doug Noble, FAIA at dnoble@usc.edu with your choice. These courses are all virtual.

THREE UPCOMING ONLINE CLASSES:

A201 General Conditions Document: by ED BUCH, AIA and DEAN VLAHOS, FAIA (Updated):
NotLY: A201 class
December 14 and 16, from 5:00pm – 6:30pm

Zoom class
Instructors: Ed Buch and Dean Vlahos (they have taught this great class many times)
DECEMBER 14: https://usc.zoom.us/j/93292746028
DECEMBER 16: https://usc.zoom.us/j/91939774821
The A201 contract is certainly one of the most important documents in architecture professional practice.  This two-day class will go through the A201 in detail.  Each day is different, you should attend both days if you can, but if you miss one you can still take the other one.  This class is perfect for anyone taking the ARE Architect Registration exams.  It will show up on several exams.  If you are new to the licensing exams, this is a great class to take.  If you have taken the A201 class in the past, you should know how valuable it will be to take it again.

To attend, please email Doug Noble, FAIA with NotLY in the subject line and say “I want A201 Dec 14 and Dec 16”

California Supplemental Exam (CSE): by DEAN VLAHOS, FAIA, and a bonus panel session
One day – Dec 18, 9am-noon.

BONUS SESSION: California Supplemental Exam (CSE) PANEL SESSION: by a panel of recently licensed architects

This session will start in the same ZOOM room as the CSE session above by Dean Vlahos.

Bonus panel is 12-1 (as soon as the regular class ends)

If you want to attend, please reply and say “I want CSE VLAHOS DEC 18”
