Dear Practitioners and Advocates for Architecture,
We are building the new 2025-2028 AIA|LA strategic plan with your contribution. The world of architecture has always been dynamic. In 2024, we’re experiencing even more accelerated change due to innovations in technology, the demand for more inclusive and equitable design, and the urgency of addressing climate change. These forces are shaping the future of architecture and the urban environment, and our members and advocates will shape the mission of the AIA|LA.
As we design and build within the fabric of Los Angeles, we often find ourselves navigating the many complexities of architecture: the aspirational and financial, the operational and social, the environmental and technological. Every situation is fraught with both frustration and opportunity. At its best, the AIA|LA should support its members through that journey. The data and resulting report from our strategy work will be made available to you as a resource.
In 2028, the Olympics & Paralympics will be in Los Angeles, and we will look back to see how this strategic plan guided the work of the AIA|LA. Your feedback will help build the momentum to shape the future of the built environment for good.
